I saw a video of a guy clearing 35"s with a 3.5" level from rough country on a new Silverado. Made me think it might be feasible, but practical is another question as the price tag is a lot higher and this is my daily the 33"s are starting to make more sense...

I have a 2009 on 35s with a 5.3 325 cid which yields 320 bhp and 338 ft/lbs of torque to 3.73 gears. Now...I don't know what all that means, but it seems that the newer, more powerful, 5.3 that yields 355 bhp and 388 ft/lbs of torque should almost be a wash with 3.42 gears to run 35s.

Rather surprised as side by side to my 33's these are monsters. There was a 3" difference because they are on 8.5" wheels. 2015 on 35's factory height. 35x11.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. No lift, no level. Only change was swapping out my shot Ranchos for Bilstein 5100's ( and i mean shot, i was able to compress the rears completely with ease, and have zero rebound. I was going to level it, but thankfully was talked out of it by a sponser on here.You should be able to. I had a 3" body lift and cranked up torsion bars on my Suburban and it fit 35's. I couldn't crank the wheels too far to the side but they fit good enough. I've got 5.3L and had 3.42 gears when I put on my 6" pro comp with 35" nitto Terra's wasn't happy with the power loss at all. Upgraded to 4.56 gears this summer and now pleased with the power return.
