Sanemi himself said He was able to dodge Kokushibo's attack due to his vast experience compared to Muichiro. Now Giyuu/Rengoku/Obanai all have same experience as Sanemi. This is also proved when Sanemi and Giyuu are equal in Swordskill in their training session. Also note that Obanai trains the newbie slayers in "SwordSkill Section".
